We have completed the feasibility study to determine whether or not we would be able to raise enough money to build our new church.  Through the interviews done during this time, it was determined that we should be able to successfully raise 4.1 million dollars through a capital campaign to build this new church.          

            We also have been interviewing architects, and are now working on concluding a contract with CCBG Architects from Phoenix.  These architects have experience in building the cruciform type of church which we desire.  The architects have estimated the cost of our church, completed and furnished to be between 6 and 7 million.  Therefore, if we can sell the property on Willard Street, memorialize all the windows, successfully complete the capital campaign and utilize the monies raised in the building fund, we can build our church debt free.

            The Capital Campaign has already begun.  On the reverse side of this announcement are the names of all who have volunteered their time and talents to lead us to a successful outcome of this campaign which we have entitled ACT -All Committed Together in Christ to build our church for His honor and glory.

            During September and October we will be organizing and informing all of you through newsletters, brochures, and the bulletin about how we all will be working toward our goal.

            The theme of the ACT program will be “Not equal gifts, but equal sacrifice”.  November 18 and 19 will be our Commitment Sunday celebration, and on December 10 we will be concluding the campaign with the celebratory announcement of how much has been pledged.

            These are exciting days for our parish, please pray for all who are volunteering their time and talents, and ask God for guidance in making your personal sacrifice toward meeting the financial goals of the campaign.

Hemos completado el estudio de la viabilidad para determinar si o no seríamos capacesde obtener dinero suficiente para construir nuestra nueva iglesia. Por lasentrevistas hechas durante esta vez, se determinó que debemos ser capaces de obtener 4,1 millones de dólares por una campaña principal para construir estanueva iglesia.

Hemos estado entrevistando también a arquitectos, y ahoratrabajando a obtener un contrato con Arquitectos de CCBG de Phoenix. Estos arquitectos tienen la experiencia en la construcción del tipo cruciforme de la iglesia que deseamos. Los arquitectos han estimado el costo de nuestra iglesia, completa y con muebles para estar entre 6 y 7 millones. Por lo tanto, si podemos vender la propiedad en la Calle de Willard, conmemorar todas las ventanas, completar exitosamente la campaña principal y utilizar el dinero en el fondo de edificio, nosotros podemos construir nuestra iglesia sindeuda.

La Campaña Principal ya ha empezado. En el otro lado de este anuncio sonlos nombres de todos los que se han ofrecido su tiempo y los talentos a dirigírnos a un resultado exitoso de esta campaña que hemos dado el nombre ACT-Todos Cometidos Juntos en Cristo (All Committed Together in Christ) para construir nuestra iglesia para Su honory Su gloria.

Durante septiembre y octubre nosotros estaremos organizando yestaremos informando todos por boletines, por los folletos, y por el boletínacerca de cómo todos pueden trabajar juntos para llegar a nuestra meta.

El tema del programa del ACT será "No regalos iguales, pero sacrificios iguales". Noviembre 18 y 19 serán nuestra celebración del Domingo de Compromiso, y el 10 de diciembre nosotros estaremos concluyendo la campaña conel anuncio celebratoria de cuánto ha sido prometido.

Durante estos díasemociantes para nuestra parroquia, oran por favor para todos los que se ofrecen su tiempo y talentos, y piden a Dios para la guía a hacer su sacrificio personal para que podemos llegar a las metas financieras de la campaña.
